What programs "keep you in the loop"?

Lot of options there. Not sure if 'news' applies to all of them but you covered the bases.
I was big on Al Jazeera America but, as we saw, sober, fact-based reporting doesn't have a place on American television. I think CNN International does a pretty good job in terms of major outlets. For print I tend to go to the AP, Reuters and the NY Times just because I know how diligently they vett their stories.

@Ynotisay CNN is fake news. Then again lots of news outlets are. CNN is the worst. Did you see a CNN reporter faked a rescue during the Houston hurricane?
Ynotisay · M
@Coolkid77 Do you see my profile name? Try to remember it and NEVER write me again about the media or 'fake news.' I really have no room in my world for that kind of thinking. Thanks.

@Ynotisay You're welcome.

The newspaper and the telly news from a couple different networks but you always have to be careful using sources like that because of how biased they can be. I listen to a lot of radio talk too, and the Week magazine usually has a decent amount of credible material.
Mostly on line.

I'm British so much doesn't apply to me. Thanks for including 'other alternative left outlets though' in your very well made poll.

I still get news from the mainstream but I increasingly distrust it.
PepsiCola · 26-30, F
Me too. Some alternative outlets have picked up old habits, but some have been such a huge contribution to political discussion and I wish I could have added even more.
bargen0wwww · 26-30, M
None, unless its on while im around. 80% of the time the media only tells what people want to hear. Online sources tend to be more accurate
Elegy · 46-50
NPR mainly.
I don't really get my news anywhere. Too many people whine about the media so it's turned me off to the news entirely. Even local news.
SW-User
CNN, New Yorker, NPR. Those are my main sources. I also sometimes check smaller alternative sites.

No joke the deep web👍 it's the only place that hasn't been compromised in one way or another.
I don't bother ..
Coolkid77 · 31-35, M
Mostly on Facebook for local news. I hate the news. Too much fake news is out there plus a lot of them are pushing their viewers to just one side. A lot the news that gets reported, shouldn't for security reasons.
