Let's keep targeting the personalities, not the process

Classified documents have been found in the home of former Vice President Mike Pence and turned over to the FBI for review, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

A lawyer for Pence conducted the search of Pence's home in Indiana last week and found around a dozen documents marked as classified, sources said. The search was done proactively and in the wake of the news that classified documents from before he was president were found in Joe Biden's home and old office at the Penn Biden Center, a Washington, D.C., think tank.

The Pence documents are undergoing a review by the Department of Justice's National Security Division and the FBI, sources said.

Brandon’s America operates under Banana Republic laws
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Tres13 Yeah, what laws are those, a banana republic generally being the example of lawlessness? Is there a book? A file somewhere? And who's this Brandon.

@Tres13 I used to work for an aerospace company that had lots of government military contracts. We had very specific rules about handling classified documents, and I think that was for the good.

Do you actually object to laws which place restrictions on the use of such documents? If your idea of a Banana Republic is a United States that strives to safeguard national security, then I am in favor of what you call a Banana Republic.

@Graylight Who's Brandon? Biden asked the same question.🤣

@Tres13 Where are you from again dude? Not the U.S., huh?

Who the fuck is asking @Ynotisay

@Tres13 Me.

@ron122 Yeah, well, he probably didn't expect elementary school behavior from grown adults.

@Graylight I'm curious. What do you expect to gain by supporting This braindead old man and his criminal family? Trumps pretty much out of the picture now but you still act like Biden is some kind of god. Are you just trying to be a good cult member?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@ron122 He stopped Trump. That's why I support him.

Biden sponsored one of the first climate change bills in the Senate in 1986 and went on to propose curbing greenhouse gas emissions in 2007.

In 2008, he successfully passed the PROTECT Our Children Act, which was aimed at addressing the online exploitation of children.

Biden has played a role in foreign policy, serving as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee three times. He spoke passionately about the need to place sanctions on Apartheid-era South Africa in 1986 and advocated for intervention in Yugoslavia in the 1990s as that country descended into civil war and ethnic cleansing.

He also pushed for former Eastern Bloc countries to join NATO after the fall of the Soviet Union, which many of them did.

He later helped to launch a "Cancer Moonshot" initiative in 2016 aimed at improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The Lancet Oncology, a medical journal specializing in cancer, gave Biden an unprecedented endorsement on October 1, 2020 for his commitment to healthcare and cancer research.

He helped the Obama administration pass several key pieces of legislation, including the 2010 Tax Relief Act, the Budget Control Act of 2011, which dealt with a debt ceiling crisis, and the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012. The 2012 act resolved the so-called "fiscal cliff."

That's why I support him. Is he the right guy now that the crises are waning? No, but we'll have someone lined up. See, not everyone plays Identity Politics, where we follow the most minor of details about a person and rip him apart or place him on a pedestal depending on what we think we see. Some are interesting in the navigation of a nation and much less about the words someone trips on.

I support Biden because he's not an authoritarian would-be fascists who couldn't find his front door if he weren't led. I support him because the criminal era of Washington is over and dozens of criminal sentences is enough. I support him because I care about the person sitting alone and sick and desperate in the night with nothing to save him or her, and I know Biden does, too. I support Biden because it's time to stop apologizing for American as a petulant, racists, willfully ignorant land of aggressive squatters.

Trump represents everything ugly, everything thieving and everything soulless and he gloats over the image. He is the worst of us, and to chose that to feel superior is a sad, sad statement.

@ron122 Not one fact in that little expulsion of air.

Here are some handy pieces of information, Ron:
TDS isn't a thing. You guys made it up and you're the only ones playing.
I hate no one. You, nor Trump, nor DeSantis will ever have anywhere near that kind of power over me; that's for the weak. Don't mistake justified outrage as hate - you could end up in a swamp.
Offer some cogent, factual information comparing Trump to Biden to prove your point. Otherwise, Ron, and it pains me to say it, stfu.

@ron122 Trump is the only Republican who has formally declared his candidacy and currently leads the field. He’s hardly out of the picture.
ron122 · 41-45, M
@Graylight Well I'm shocked.😯
