Is there a chance Santos' lies are all an act playing the GOP as suckers?

Any chance Santos is a comedian playing an act in order to expose the GOP as complete suckers? Like Borat?

If not the only other explanation is that he is a complete sociopath.

Most anything is possible, I guess. In this case, though, I seriously doubt Santos is playing some "act". He's just an individual who thinks "embellishing" is not actually lying...even when it clearly is.
