You impeached "our guy," now that we're in charge (by 4 including George Santos), we're going to impeach your Cabinet members.

Who can argue with this logic, performance, and leadership (in name only)?

I get what you are saying here.. And I suppose that when you are up to your neck in spiders and snakes, its hard to worry about serious world issues. But trust me that this BS being played out in the multi level clusterf**k that is US politics and the legal system isnt going to get a lot of sympathy from the outside world. (You know...That place where the other eight billion people live)
American apathy and stupidity brought America to this point.. American corruption and greed funded it. And American exceptionalism and arrogance convinced Americans that everything will be fine because America is too big to fail.. And that might have been true once. But not any more.. And the brats throwing a tantrum in the sandbox on Capitol Hill, are about as funny as the kids screaming at their mother in aisle six at the supermarket. Either fix the problem or shut up about it. The world doesnt care any more...馃樂

It is exhausting,@whowasthatmaskedman.
But, we cannot fix stupid. And stupid elects and is elected.
And as sad as it appears to be, the stupid are in numbers strong enough to makes decisions that affect us all.
And the world does care. You may not, but the powers that be certainly do.

@Carla I completely empathise with that thought...And that is the true horror of it.. After all the BS played out publicly in so many states and no one held accountable while not even trying to hide their corruption, the voters keep electing these people. Even while these same people are publicly removing the right of people to vote and to decide what to do with their own bodies.. There are STILL so many..The lunatics clearly are in charge and if these were children you would make sure they only played under supervision and with soft toys..馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman I know you like to beat the leader and think the outside world is somehow "special" and exempt from human behaviour, but your admonitions ring hollow in context with the worldwide stress-test of social norms. The sooner you get off your high horse and realize the world - and humans - are connected the better you will be in understanding that outside world around your self-concocted cocoon.

@MarkPaul Actually I know it well. Its Americans who seem to have a problem with it..馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman As with most self-selected victims through the ages, the fault (and the problem) is not in our stars, but in ourselves. And, based on your behaviour, your attitude, and your calculated statements, it appears the problem is in your self-contained world.
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@MarkPaul But I am in fact a citizen of the world. Having visited and indeed lived in other cultures. Of all those America resembles something closer to a closed controlled society than a democracy. Sure you have the veneer of freedom with guns and "free speech".. But the system can push back really hard behind that and you have little protection from injustice unless you are wealthy. Compare and contrast to britain, where you are more controlled at the edges, but way better protected as an average person...馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman Isn't it wonderful there is a full array of choices around the world so that people can see and choose for themselves what they like and what they want within a social consensus instead of being beholden to your personal opinion about what is best for the world at large? Maybe it's good you are not at centre of the world, but on the periphery and on the fringe.

@MarkPaul We agree.. Whether its the Bull Fights, the Colesium or the UFC eightsided cage, the best seat in the house is in the audience with a good view...馃樂
