Russia! Russia! Russia! Newly-Elect Rep. George Santos Lastest Republican to be Under Investigation for Murky Campaign Funds With Russian Ties

"A cousin of a sanctioned Russian oligarch has deep ties to disgraced Long Island Rep. George Santos, whose murky campaign financing is under investigation by the House Ethics Committee and federal prosecutors.

"Andrew Intrater, 60, gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to a company linked to the sketchy Republican congressman while also heavily contributing to Santos’ campaigns for office, according to a new report."

His constituents need to start a recall campaign, and unseat him, the same should be done to ANY lying politician.
beckyromero · 36-40, F
@fanuc2013

Voters can't "recall" a Member of Congress. Best they can do is not re-elect him.

The House, however, can expell him with a two-thirds vote.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@fanuc2013 You can start with Warren and Blumenthal.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@Strictgram And Schiff he's a pathological liar.

@Strictgram

I mean, at this point , the Reich-Wing isn’t making much of a fuss about throwing in their support behind Russia, are they?

Here are 2 more Reich-Wingers identifying with Russia, birthplace of communist government:

@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Usual lies. I don't know of any group that doesn't support Ukraine.
SevIsPamprinYouAlways · 56-60, F
@Strictgram Nope. Truth bombs being dropped. Why wear the shirt if you don’t on some level believe it? Answer: Its inconvenient for you to acknowledge , so you’re pretending like it’s not happening.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Present your evidence. I say few if anyone supports Russia.
SevIsPamprinYouAlways · 56-60, F
Literally posted evidence. Again. I’m a little confused; are photographs nnot considered documentary evidence? Here’s two comments Tucker made, just to sweeten what’s already been posted, and spoiler alert, he’s not supporting Ukraine. Quotes are from the newspaper The Guardian, published in Great Britain

Notice especially what he says about Zelensky:

In fact, he’s been quotable on the subject, at some length, but here’s an excerpt:

But I’m sure you won’t be satisfied with the evidence, and require unreasonable amounts of it to specify, because you deny reality even when presented with evidence that confirms it’s actually happening/has happened.

Strictgram · 70-79, C
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways That's one of 330 million. Can you point to anyone else that is pro Russian?
SevIsPamprinYouAlways · 56-60, F
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways I'll take that as a no!
SevIsPamprinYouAlways · 56-60, F
@Strictgram You should take it as “Ive already provided you with proof that you’re conveniently ignoring, and certainly not going to do it 72 million times (the amount of Trump voters in his 2020 election loss).”
Maia19 · 26-30, F
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Why are you even entertaining her? She demands documented proof, it’s given, she either flatly denies it as a lie (even if it’s her own words) or asks for more evidence , even if enough have been provided to support the argument. I get that you two seem to be in a detente situation right now, but you know Lucy’s gonna pull the football soon.

@SevIsPamprinYouAlways One example and you call that proof? Just admit that you were wrong.

@Strictgram You received more than one example, but then again, I know that your tactic is to minimize and deny, so I’m really not surprised that you’ve decided to ignore it. It’s what you do whenever someone brings up your history of advocating for abusive corporal punishment, or calling the justifiable homicide of an insurrectionist traitor at the head of a violent mob meaning great harm to lawmakers a “murder”.

Since you asked? Sure, I can point to several:

Thoughts?

@Strictgram

Here’s a link for you to follow, as well, and it’s an informative article, but one that paints Repugs in a less than flattering light, so I’m sure you’ll just wind up ignoring it.

https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2022/12/29/republicans-ukraine-spending-00075844

I also have more screenshots of pro-Putin or anti-Ukraine statements spewed by Reich-Wingers, should the ones I’ve already posted in addition to the article not be persuasive enough, since I’m all about bringing the receipts.
Maia19 · 26-30, F
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways $20 says she won’t even acknowledge this, or wonder why there’s only “7out of 72 million” that don’t support it, as if the ones in the screenshots don’t hold enormous legislative power, or were figures in the previous administration.
Maia19 · 26-30, F
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Another $20 says she straight up ignores the link, or totally dismisses it as “leftist propaganda”, as if Politico isn’t read on both sides of the aisle.
SevIsPamprinYouAlways · 56-60, F
@Maia19 I’m afraid to take that bet, because I need the $ for eating out tommorow! Let’s see what she does. I was holding the screenshots and articles in reserve, Justin case, and darn if she didn’t require receipts.
