Militia and rights to one

We the people have the right to bear arms and form a militia, not only is it our right, it is our duty for the nation. People will rise to power and we need to fight tyranny with the people.

You are a little confused. Why would there be an amendment in any constitution that encourages armed rebellion?

@JonLosAngeles66 Militia is not rebellion militia is a safeguard against tyranny and the founding fathers called for state militia to be formed
@Unserve state militias is what is refers to. We had a very small standing army. Instead of the National Guard we had state militias. You’re ignoring the “well regulated” part.

@JonLosAngeles66 And you skipped over the part you can google and immediately get to I will copy and paste

“collective right” of “the people” to participate in “well-regulated Militia” as establishments within the federal system but also an “individual right” of each American among “the people” who compose or could compose the Militia to acquire and possess firearms suitable for Militia service, whether he actually trains and deploys in the field or not.

Also when they say well-regulated they most likely meant well-trained. This little bit says that the people would compose the militia and be able to get the firearms necessary for military use. Establishments within the federal system most likely means a government-sanctioned militia, which you do have to get approval from the government before starting a militia
@Unserve no it was specifically referring to state militias is which the soldiers provided their own muskets.

@JonLosAngeles66 still we are allowed to have a militia
@Unserve which are overwhelmingly white supremacists and/or right wing extremists

@JonLosAngeles66 And? It does not matter if they are or are not they still exist + typically white supremacists are conservative and believe in gun rights, you won't see a liberal picking up many guns and training with them. And also not all conservatives are white supremacists.
@Unserve but all militia members are.
Unserve · 16-17, M
@JonLosAngeles66 not all militia members are white supremisists, thats like saying all liberals are communist or all democrats wanna take guns away.
