@Graylight no one is arguing that there is an unlimited right to own any weapon you choose... for example, you cannot go out and just purchase a machine gun.

The US Constitution isn't your Ultimate Rights pamphlet. It's a document that outlines the framework of a new nation. It's been changed in the past, it'll be changed again. Guns aren't and American right absolutely.
