How to end Russian invasion of Ukraine

Announce that Nato troops will be entering Ukraine . Along with air support and artillery support from ships .

Announce to Putin that no Russian will be attacked unless they fire upon Nato Troops.

If Russia proceeds to retreat then it’s over. The alternative is all hell breaks loose on Russian troops.

This should have been done on day 1.

@revenant They have a few thousand nukes, even if only 1 out of 10 successfully leaves the silo they're enough to make most of Europe inhabitable.

They probably won't launch over Ukraine, but if you invade them and force their hand, you leave them only two options: they lose, they and everybody else loses.
@Elessar you don’t understand putin. He knows every well if he launches a nukes he is dead.

Think about what he has done accumulating a massive fortune .

If he was a poor man with rabid ideology like a jihadist then I would be worried.

But he is a man who worships money and power …he’s not going to give all that up just to die.

@Ryderbike He's dead either way, only a decisive victory would justify the toll this war had on Russia thus far. If he worshiped money and power as you're suggesting he would've f*cked off with his $900M yatch in some tropical island while leaving the PR role to Medvedev or some other bootlicker, he wouldn't be behaving exactly like a jihadist. 2022 Putin isn't the Putin of twenty years ago.
@Elessar putin thinks he can win by waiting for republicans to take power.

He’s doing exactly what is expected by those that know how he operates.

@Ryderbike There's a small bunch of MAGA lunatics in the GOP that may collaborate at most. And these people might sack him any time too, as they will follow whomever they perceive the strongest leader, Putin no longer projects that image.
@Elessar the so called small bunch of maga lunatics happen to control the house starting in Jan.

That means they control the purse strings eventually.
@revenant Ukraine means the edge. The edge of what? It's too hard for you. NATO thanks you for not knowing.

@Roundandroundwego Spare us the tankie nonsense, please.
@Elessar we're attacking the edge of... What can you say? Ukraine may be the edge of insanity. It's as good as any reason for endless war.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Ryderbike No, not MAGA as a whole, you've seen the other day with Zelensky how many Putin supporters there are. And you see that Ukraine's support is pretty much bipartisan when aid packages are voted by Congress as well.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego Ukraine is a country inhabited by people who are being unjustifiably and savagely attacked by Russia for bullsh*t reasons. We're attacking nothing, Russia is, we're merely giving them the means to defend themselves.

Or are you suggesting they should get butchered in silence, while we turn the head to the other direction and pretend the world is at "peace"?
@Elessar all places deserve local sovereignty.
What about making peace? Don't all countries have to do it? Might made that stupid in Washington.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego Peace with who? There's no peace with oppressors, just truces they'll use to reorganize for their next attack. The war is between Russia and Ukraine, we don't have anyone to "make peace" with.
