Jan 6 …Antifa?

It’s always rewarding to watch trump supporters humiliated by Trump.

Former president Donald Trump said he would issue full pardons and a government apology to rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and violently attacked law enforcement to stop the democratic transfer of power.
“I mean full pardons with an apology to many,” he told conservative radio host Wendy Bell on Thursday morning. Such a move would be contingent on Trump running and winning the 2024 presidential election.

Have republicans abandoned their claim that Jan 6 was an antifa false flag??

@ElwoodBlues Excellent point, Beav.
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues no investigation is necessary, bc the commission already has the outcome decided anyway.
@easterniowegin evidence speaks for itself.
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@Ryderbike
- zero defense witnesses called
- zero cross examination of evidence or witnesses
- zero committe members who didn't already vote to impeach (biased)
- why did nancy refuse national guard?
- where are the 14k hours of video footage?
- pipe bomb?
- brick pallet?
- who ordered the police to drop barricades and waive in the crowds?
@easterniowegin they subpoenaed many people and guess what those witnesses defied subpoenas.

All republicans .

What does that tell you?
@easterniowegin by the way it wasn’t a trial. It was an inquiry into Jan 6 .
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@Ryderbike yes, the trial will open ALL of that up to discovery. Won't it be interesting to see nancy give testimony in a court of law?! Or Ray Epps?
@easterniowegin DUUUDE!!!
Democrats proposed a balanced bipartisan (5 members from each party) Jan 6 commission designed along the lines of the 9/11 Commission.

Republicans REFUSED that proposal.
Repeat: Republicans REFUSED that proposal.
Republicans blocked that proposal in the Senate.

If republicans don't like the House Committee (not Commission) they have only themselves to blame. Republicans had the option for a bipartisan commission and they blocked it. If you object to the House Committee, bring your complaints to the Senate Republicans!!!
@easterniowegin better ask your self why the Republican senate voted down a bi partisan inquiry forcing the house to open an inquiry.

Why do you think that is?
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues Nice whataboutism. Do you think I'm so partisan that I won't condemn BOTH sides here?
That's the problem with the left. They cannot fathom taking a stand against their beloved authority figures.
The establishment GOP is as corrupt as the dems. Two sides of the same corrupt coin.
They are all bad.
@easterniowegin ah the old both sides are bad when you’re caught looking like a fool.

Only one side is defending an attack on the Capitol, brown shirt
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
Discovery is going to be a fun exercise if DOJ actually pursues anything. Nancy can't keep it covered indefinitely.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@easterniowegin Did you expect anything else as both sides have been bought off by the same corporate lobbyists?? The difference being that Republicans can be more open in their corruption and dishonesty as it aligns better with the Capitalist ethic..😷
@easterniowegin better tell all the people convicted about your discovery.

They don’t seem to be using it l
@easterniowegin
Nice whataboutism
Actually, my comments are exactly on point.
Actually, YOU misunderstood what "Beaver" is saying.

The historical fact is that Senat repubs blocked a bipartisan Commission designed along the lines of the 9/11 Commission, and "Beaver" is making fun of that blocking. Everybody knew the House could and would investigate with a Committee, so an investigation was going to happen regardless.

YOU confused the Commission with the Committee while complaining about the partisan nature of the Committee.

I am here to re-iterate what "Beaver" said: that you could have had bipartisan but Senate repubs blocked it.
@easterniowegin
Do you think I'm so partisan that I won't condemn BOTH sides here?
I think you've honestly forgotten what "partisan" really looks like.

If you want to see what a partisan investigation REALLY looks like, you might take a glance at the EIGHT (8) separate republican controlled House and Senate committee investigations of Hillary Clinton and Benghazi. Yes indeed, four investigations weren't enough. Six weren't enough.

They needed EIGHT (8) separate republican controlled Congressional investigations of Hillary. After all four people died at Benghazi, while only five died from the Jan 6 insurrection.

And nobody refused a subpoena from those EIGHT committees. And Hillary testified under oath for HOURS. And she never pleaded the 5th. And all EIGHT (8) separate republican controlled Congressional investigations found no wrongdoing.

So yeah, refresh your memory, that's what "partisan" actually looks like.

@soar2newhighs you are trying to hi Jack my thread with nonsense .

I’m erasing your comments that stray from the topic,
@Ryderbike Afraid of other’s views?
@soar2newhighs not at all but you’re the kind that runs when he gets schooled.

Don’t like runners
@Ryderbike If my post does not conform to your view(s) on 6 Jan, too bad, and if you want only YOUR side of it to be seen, then erase my remarks.
@soar2newhighs you’re welcome to give your views on trump pardoning convicted Jan 6 criminals.

Go ahead,
@Ryderbike My comments weren’t about Trump ( first of all if elected) pardoning anybody. Re read my post. It is about the days prior to and on 6 Jan and legitimate concerns and questions that should be addressed.
@soar2newhighs read the Jan 6 report. It’s all there
@Ryderbike Partisan, and less than complete or truthful.
