Be nice to see someday how much of Trumpism is actually subsidized by money laundering and fraudulent investment scams, but "telling" "the base" anything seems pretty counter productive.

Honestly, I don't think "Trump's base" is as stupid as it is sociopathic and malevolent.
I don't think putting money into Trump's pockets is an economic decision for most of the folks who do it, at least with crap like if this.
Sure, it may be short sighted, and screwing the libs and making "America Great [i]Again[/i]" might not be such a great deal in the long run, but its rewarding on a gut/emotional level to be heard and screw the other guy.
Granted, I'm insulting "the base" in a different way, and it's no more (and probably less) productive.
