@Magnolia21 Its true. Our National Broadband Network is rubbish by world standards. It was designed to be fibre to the consumer. Then the "conservative" government decided fibre to the dnode was good enough for the Proles. Even they had to admit it needed upgrading before it was even installed everywhere. Of course. It is being installed everywhere. Not just where there are enough users for it to be profitable.

@whowasthatmaskedman Fibre to the node is for the lucky ones living in more urban areas. Get out of town a bit and it's fixed wireless.

@whowasthatmaskedman I did hear the fixed wireless network will be upgraded to reasonable speed at some time in the future. That's something, I suppose.
