Is there any point in posting in the politics topic at the moment?

Skipping the rest of the non-US world, theres not much happening until after GA gets decided, and even then, it seems pretty much a question of how and whether the Republican can get it's shit together with Trump trying to rip it and Western Civilization, including Christianity apart for his own goals.

Seems pretty pointless to me to even check in, much less comment or post.

Am I wrong?

I wasn't doubting what S&P did.
There have been other downgrades of Twitter since Musk took over.

What I doubt is that Musk released the documents simply to deflect attention from the downgrade.
THAT story is MSNBC's (and others') deflection from what the released documents revealed.
