"Former president Trump claimed on Saturday that the U.S. Constitution should be suspended in order to rectify the “massive fraud” that he still alleges cost him the 2020 election." I have never been so grateful for the U.S. Constitution and our system of checks and balances that thwarts would be dictators like Trump. In 2016 when being sworn in as President Trump took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. He lied under oath.
Donald Trump, having openly attacked the U.S. Constitution, should be banned from ever holding public office. And We the People must demand that Trump be subpoenaed to testify UNDER OATH before Congress on his role in the Jan. 6th treasonous insurrection.
*Anyone who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 should hang their heads low in shame for the rest of their lives. You have much to answer for.
