Am I a bad leftist just bc I like big business

I mean sure they're all run by ghouls, but the employment they offer is much more stable than it is with small businesses, and they're a lot easier to regulate. They're often better from a customer experience perspective too, since their large size allows them to offer a wider variety of goods and services. That said, small businesses tend to be better for boutique stores and restaurants, since they offer a wider variety of experiences and feel more authentic.

Enterprise isn't necessarily a bad thing. Lots of choices are available to the consumer. But when referring to employment options, remember large companies have a goal to be as profitable as possible. Paying employees is a liability. They will eliminate your job tomorrow and replace you with software once they figure out a way to do it.

@Celebration Small companies also are profit-maximizing and will fire you if it helps them. I agree that that's a flaw of business in general, if that's what you're saying.
@BlueVeins your role at a big company will tend to be very specific, whereas at a small, local company you're more likely to wear as many hats as it takes to get the job done. Smaller companies may not have resources for workforce development and software. Smaller companies, particularly mom-and-pop joints tend to see the value in their people. So while on the surface, opportunities abound at big companies, be careful of constant re-orgs and layoff rumors.
