Am I a bad leftist just bc I like big business

I mean sure they're all run by ghouls, but the employment they offer is much more stable than it is with small businesses, and they're a lot easier to regulate. They're often better from a customer experience perspective too, since their large size allows them to offer a wider variety of goods and services. That said, small businesses tend to be better for boutique stores and restaurants, since they offer a wider variety of experiences and feel more authentic.

Depends on what you consider big business. Personally I believe multinational corporations are like countries unto themselves.

They know no allegiance to any country, therefore should be abolished.

@DeWayfarer The fact that multinationals are less beholden to any one state is one of the few things I like about 'em. The nation-state is a dumb idea anyway.

@BlueVeins until you get into situations like with China.

I don't believe a country should own a corporation yet that's exactly what the situation in China is.

Yet when it comes to foreign policy multinational corporations are in conflict with the policies of their originating country. Such is the current situation with gas companies.

The problem though goes back to WWII with Ford producing war vehicles for Germany.
