Am I a bad leftist just bc I like big business

I mean sure they're all run by ghouls, but the employment they offer is much more stable than it is with small businesses, and they're a lot easier to regulate. They're often better from a customer experience perspective too, since their large size allows them to offer a wider variety of goods and services. That said, small businesses tend to be better for boutique stores and restaurants, since they offer a wider variety of experiences and feel more authentic.

@Burnley123 But if you think about it, a socialist state is like, the biggest business of alllllllllll

@BlueVeins I'm in favour of a strong democratic state and an economy run by cooperative businesses. Sure, they can be big cooperatives,

Economies of scale can be beneficial if that is your point.

The worse thing about big businesses is the political impact. I'm not just talking about corporate lobbying (though there is that) its in a general sense that they allow a ruling class to exist. The libertarian idyll of a small business society (with no govt regulation) is clearly bollocks.
