The 50th Anniversary of the End of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study

Just a reminder that the U.S. government treated 623 African American men like human guinea pigs, so government doctors could study the course of the disease. They watched as these men suffered in agony and died during a period of four decades before ending the experiment and offering them treatment.

What is it you want. That was 50 years ago. If there is assistance needed by the individuals involved, then certainly, by all means. But if this just harps on the racism of two generations ago, then it's just another race-baiting divisive remembrance, and fails to note the massive changes since then.
