I guess you actually meant with guns in plain view because I saw a few others define actual brandishing.
It doesn't bother me for people to have guns.
I actually like to have people around with guns.
How many mass shootings happen when everyone has a gun???
BUT ... if no one has a gun, what are you going to do if someone with a gun decides to start shooting?
You will never be able to wish away the gun just like illegal drugs.
It is a part of life now and should be dealt with accordingly.
People have to stop treating other people like potential criminals and start dealing correctly with the actions of actual criminally minded people.
Criminals will always use the tool that gives them the greatest advantage over their victims.
So the most obvious answer to the problem is give everyone a gun.
Then, no one has the upper hand on anyone else under any circumstance.
@Dainbramadge American has the most guns and the most mass shootings.

There goes your theory
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike How many mass shootings happen where other people have guns?????
@Dainbramadge that’s easy. Texas kills more cops than any other state. Texas has some of the Most lax gun laws and all the cops have guns
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike That's nice. How many shootings happen in gun free zones????
@Dainbramadge Most of the schools in most of the world are gun free zones,
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike Bars are also gun free zones.
How many mass shootings happen at a firing range?
Actually, can you name one place that encourages gun carry that ever had a mass shooting?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Dainbramadge 'I guess you actually meant with guns in plain view.' - yes I did. (I was being overly dramatic , quite deliberately.)

'You will never be able to wish away the gun.' - but you can legislate.

'So the most obvious answer to the problem is give everyone a gun.' - what about the people who dont want them ?
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@RodionRomanovitch

So I guess the conundrum with that sentence I wrote is that it should have said " So the most obvious answer to the problem is to give anyone who chooses to carry a gun the right to do so.
It's called freedom of choice.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Dainbramadge But you do have that right already.
@Dainbramadge it’s called a war zone
@Dainbramadge you have a gun,,,,I have a gun,,,,

I walk up behind you and shoot you.

How did your gun help you when you didn’t even see it coming?
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike great question I am glad you asked.
So many people are confused on how this works.
It's not about me shooting you before you shoot me. It's about the 85-year-old lady standing behind you watching what you are going to do is why I want everyone to have a gun.
Anyone can be sucker punched at any time. But if I see someone getting ready to shoot you in the back of the head or sucker punch you if I have a gun I can make that not happen.
@Dainbramadge you don’t get it do you?

Cops are trained and armed and get killed all the time. And yet somehow you will see it coming?

Rambo wannabee totally living in a delusional world.
@Dainbramadge
But if I see someone getting ready to shoot you in the back of the head
It take .5 secs to get ready. You won’t have a chance
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike oh I see now you've become a quick draw professional.
@Dainbramadge i’ll tell you a true story not an imaginary tale. When Gabby Gifford was shot in Arizona there was a gentleman in the drugstore close by. He was armed with a handgun. The shooter outside proceeded to shoot Gabby Gifford as well as other people. The gentleman from the drugstore ran outside and saw The guy with the gun and was going to shoot him. However because he was highly trained he noticed that the slider in the gun was open so that meant the shooters gun was empty. He proceeded them to run over and tackle him with other people and found out that wasn’t the shooter. It was a citizen who had got hold of the shooters gun after he ran out of bullets. He almost shot the innocent civilian in the back. It was only because he was highly trained and happened to notice the slider And knew what that meant.
@Dainbramadge it doesn’t take a quick draw to walk up behind someone and shoot him.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike so what you described is exactly why I'm saying more people need to be in possession of guns.
The only person who had a gun was in the drugstore across the street.
What about all the people that had already been shot? How many of them had guns? What about the other people in the store where Gabby was shot? How many of them had guns? The only person you mentioned that had a gun was across the street which proves my point precisely.
@Dainbramadge proves what the people will kill each other,?

Everyone firing .,cops show up and shoot everyone holding a gun.

It’s called a war zone
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike in both of your scenarios there are entirely more victims than if everyone had a gun.
@Dainbramadge if everyone had a gun there would have been far more victims.
As proven right here
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike so you are saying just because people have guns they are going to commit mass shootings?
@Dainbramadge USA has more guns than everyone else and more gun deaths than a anyone else,

Proving that the more guns the more people die.

Your claim of more guns is better is dead wrong ,
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike actually earlier you said that most of the world school zones are gun-free zones.
Those in bars seem to be the target of people that went to shoot a bunch of people indiscriminately.
Like I asked earlier, why don't you ever see mass shootings anywhere where guns are encouraged?
