As Robert Heinlein observed, “An armed society is a polite society”.

@Ryderbike The issue is more that @redredred is a living meme parrot. He read something from a far right wing website, and he copies it around without thinking and without context. He's an arrogant pompous gullible lazy r*tarded piece of shit, that easily programed by propaganda that feels good to him. 🤷♂️

Anyone that digs a little bit will figure out that it's not Heinlein himself that comes to this conclussion. But a character out of one of his books. A character that lives in a society no one here would sign up for. I don't know Heinlein that well, but everytime his works pop up, it seems to be dysthopic.
But @redredred doesn't look things up... he just gets his knowledge from memes and T-Shirts. Because that's the guy that he is. So whatever he says, you have to look it up, because he's not an honest brocker and he's too stupid to provide you with any knowledge.
Luckely there are Europeans out there that don't sheepishly follow the leaders that manipulate r*tards like our red American friend here. People that dig a little deeper instead of internalising easily prechewed ideas that push for a political goal.
This is the full quote:
“Well, in the first place an armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. For me, politeness is a sine qua non of civilization. That’s a personal evaluation only. But gun-fighting has a strong biological use. We do not have enough things to kill off the weak and the stupid these days. But to stay alive as an armed citizen a man has to be either quick with his wits or with his hands, preferably both. It’s a good thing.
“Of course,” he continued, “our combativeness has to do with our ancestry and our history.” Hamilton nodded; he knew that Mordan referred to the Second Genetic War. “But we have preserved that inheritance intentionally. The Planners would not stop the wearing of arms if they could.”
“Maybe so,” Felix answered slowly, “but it does seem like there ought to be a better way to do it. This way is pretty sloppy. Sometimes the bystanders get burned.”
- Robert A. Heinlein, Beyond This Horizon (1948)

@redredred I guess you couldn't adress all the stuff I point out.
For someone who likes to talk about sheep and how the governement is peoples nannie, you clearly found your nannie in a single political party. It teaches you how to speak and how to think, because you clearly aren't able to be critical on anything it feeds you. At least my governement changes ownership from time to time. But hey, I guess that's the responds you expect from a lazy r*tard that just is unable to admit that he's wrong, stupid and indoctrinated. The Dunning Kruger effect happens to all of us, you are just a severe example.

@redredred When the libertarian that voted for an authoritarian in the last 2 presidential elections is ready, maybe we can discuss your quote. A toppic you continue to avoid. Just like you avoid to talk about that daily mail article that you brought up in the context of covid vaccines being dangerous. You know, that article that didn't back you up.

Instead, you go back to pretending how great you are, because that's the only thing you have. Not only are you an "arrogant pompous gullible lazy r*tarded piece of shit", you are hollow too. And the only thing that a hollow fool like yourself has left when being challenged, is to laugh it off. 🤷♂️
