How would you feel about visiting a country where people routinely walk around brandishing firearms ?

Depends on the country. I’ve travelled through Israel where it’s normal to see a 18 year old Israeli male get on a bus wearing military fatigues and M16 and sit next to a Rabi.
In Israel every make completes 2 years of compulsory military service from 18 years of age.
