How would you feel about visiting a country where people routinely walk around brandishing firearms ?

Brandishing? By definition, that essentially means waving a weapon about in a menacing manner. I don't think anyone has seen that on a routine basis. Perhaps you mean open carry. Such as with a holstered handgun. I've seen that in some areas in the western US. Doesn't bother me.
