How would you feel about visiting a country where people routinely walk around brandishing firearms ?

I've been to Israel and there are people (ie those in army reserves or on leave or whatever) who bring their guns to the beach. I wasn't nervous.

That's a comparison to make with the US.

@JuniperEmz The first time I was in close proximity to an armed soldier was in Gaza, when it was still part of Israel.
