Just curious, being you are Canadian; does Trump bother you that much? Are you afraid his announcement for re election will be successful?
@soar2newhighs fascism on my borders is my business . We clear?
@Ryderbike Bullshit…you Canadians live under a very weak but growing tyranny. I can’t wait until the hordes of illegals flooding our country decide to “ migrate” north out of the U. S. It’s going to happen when Title 42 is dropped.
@soar2newhighs you sure? What if Trudeau was like Ron Desantis?
That would mean Trudeau would pass a law that would have made it legal to run down and kill the freedom Trucker protesters in Ottawa blocking the streets. I wonder how many would support that?

I’m glad Canadians have resisted the authoritarian nonsense that Americans are suffering from in some right wing states .
@Ryderbike Trudeau is a small player on the world stage. Authoritarian? I’m not forced under penalty of law to lock my firearm in a safe. Canadians are, and correct me if wrong, your police. Aka law enforcement can check on that ?
@soar2newhighs we are patriots in Canada . That means we take extra precautions so our children don’t get slaughtered on a regular basis like in America,

That’s what patriotism is ,,sacrafice
@Ryderbike Your government has its laws to keep a thumb on its citizens who own firearms. Your contention it is about children not being slaughtered, is total bullshit and you know it.
@soar2newhighs
Gun deaths per 100,000 people

Canada 2.8

Usa 13.6

Any questions?
@Ryderbike I told you before…pay attention! We have ten times your population. Yes, it affects the numbers.
And if your government opted to disregard having its citizens lock up their weapons, do you think the rate of shootings ( which have occurred in Canada) would increase? Yes or no?
@soar2newhighs you don’t understand per capita?

Per 100,000 people?

Gezzuz Krist get lost.i can’t deal with that kind of stupidity
@Ryderbike Answer
the question… gun violence will increase if your laws change and don’t require firearms to be secured?
I doubt it and you .
@soar2newhighs I will prove you wrong right now.

Was the sandy hook mom a law abiding citizen?
@Ryderbike I believe she was. Yes she bought him firearms. Did that make her a non law abiding citizen? I say no.
I’ll say this: if the authorities in Ct had any knowledge of The shooter’s mental status, they should have had a system in place where when his mother went to purchase firearms, would have been checked and denied the purchase had they learned she intended to gift him with them, and would have been stopped.
@soar2newhighs OK we’re gonna stick with the subject for a minute. I agree with you the Sandy Hook mother was by all accounts a law abiding gun owner, since she was a law abiding gun owner it’s safe to assume that if she was a Canadian she would be a law-abiding Canadian gun owner.

In Canada if you do not keep your gun secured from every single family member that does not have a permit you can go to prison. There is almost no chance of a child getting a hold of a gun in Canada In a law abiding home.

In fact if you can’t prove that you can keep your gun secured you’re not qualified to own a firearm.

So the chances of Sandy Hook happening in Canada is almost nil.
@Ryderbike There are those in Canada, who owned and used firearms in mass shootings, and sorry to say, The reality of such events happening again in Canada is real.
@soar2newhighs No laws will stop Every single gun death,

Making people pass driving tests will not stop every single car accident.

Making pilots pass pilot training will not stop every single plane crash.

But it seriously reduces the number.

I gave you the statistics per hundred thousand people. Canada 2.8 America 13.6 for each 100,000 people.
@Ryderbike Your first sentence said it.
@soar2newhighs Well if you can’t get past the bumper sticker length phrase you have a serious problem kid.
@Ryderbike As you said, no laws will stop every single gun death.
@soar2newhighs does that mean we don't prefer as few as possible?

Can you even think?

Wtf is the matter with you?
@Ryderbike Unfortunately guns and gun violence are here. And your solution?
@soar2newhighs why don’t you look at your own country and compare the states with the least gun laws with the states with the strongest gun laws.

And then maybe I’ll explain to me why the states with the least gun laws have the highest gun death rate.

And then you and I will compare what you have to do to get a gun in the United States and what you have to do to buy a gun in Canada. It will become painfully clear to you why you have so many more Gun deaths.

@Ryderbike Many of the states like Illinois and New York having extremely strict gun laws, have little to no effect on gun violence. There are other factors too but that’s not the issue.
@soar2newhighs New York gun death rate 5.3 per 100,000

Mississippi 28.6

Are you illiterate?
@Ryderbike No, but I can spell Mississippi!
