Secession, why or why not

Seriously I don’t think it would be good for anyone in the USA in any State to secede, regardless of political or religious views.

@BackyardShaman I agree that it would be bad for the state(s) seceding, but are you also saying that Blue America wouldn’t be better off without Red America if the red states were to secede?
