@ElwoodBlues The "Billybob" comment is solid. He wouldn't walk across the street to spit on one of his supporters. He looked for the lowest common denominator because he knew how easily they could be manipulated. It's right in line with who he is and was crystal clear from day one. But what gets me is those freak evangelicals going all in. At the very least we know that any talk from them about 'values' has been thrown right out the freaking window. And they need to be reminded of that.

This has distressed me no end, esp. the deification of Trump, a...man (if you will)...whose similarity to Jesus ends with being male, and whose actions are nearly ENTIRELY UN-Christian. ☹️

@SomeMichGuy It's one of the most fascinating components to the entire thing for me. I can only assume that hating 'the other' out of fear, which he and the machine fed, beat out everything else. I don't think it was as simple as a single issue like abortion. When you see some of the con artist preachers out there, and how they've melded politics and religion through that fear and hate, it's in direct opposition to any bible message they claim to adhere to. Freaking bizarre. Can't see them in any other way than cult members committed to destruction and power.
