Can that attack on Pelosi's husband be plotted?

Just for the info, It is a very basic political phenomena taught to graduates to shift the crowd's mood. It is known as Playing politics.

I don't think so, in this case.

Have to believe it is possible. I saw no pictures or body cam.
@Swoop62 Again, I base my beliefs on evidence, not speculation. There's an old saying in medicine, when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras. The simplest and most logical explanation is that DePape was a nutjob who wanted to attack Nancy, and when she wasn't there, he attacked her husband. Anything else is just making stuff up.

@LeopoldBloom Sure, see things however you choose, but for some reason you think I have to automatically fall in the same thought pattern. You seem to think that we all have to use the same logic you do with no suspicion. So, you are wasting your time if you think you can beat me down with how you see things and get me to agree. This is my last answer as all is a waste of time over something I care very little about but do have my view which I am entitled to whether you think so or not.
@Swoop62 It's not logic, it's opinion. I'm not going to assume there's some conspiracy without evidence of one.

It s didn’t need to be. The law of averages puts it exactly where it was - a lone actor with some mental health problems and a directive from the base.
It was planned by David DePape, the perpetrator. Not everything is a conspiracy.

@LeopoldBloom Just another angle to it. The incidents which occur just before the elections should be scrutinized very well from all the possible angles.
@TheOrionbeltseeker Which is what the police are doing. As a private citizen, you have no special information; you're just going by the news stories from your preferred sources. If your theory is that Pelosi orchestrated the attack on her husband to gin up sympathy for House Democrats, I have to say, that's bat-guano crazy.
Last I checked it was attempted murder
Pretzel · 61-69, M
yeah I'm pretty sure Nancy set her husband up to hit in the head with a hammer just as the police arrived.

and no doubt the attacker was SUPPOSED to have killed him for sympathy and not just fracture his skull.

no bid deal either way - they have great insurance planse in congress.

yeah, sure, it was all a set up

Out of curiosity, does this sort of thing happen in your own country?
Budwick · 70-79, M
That seems to be the popular opinion.
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
@Budwick
That seems to be the popular opinion.
…Among Republicans. I heard some speculation that a major reason the red wave didn’t materialize is that instead of simply condemning the attack Republicans reacted like you did with some crazy theories that liberals did it. Independents and swing voters were appalled at y’all’s callousness.
