This election was the best thing that could happen to Republicans

1) Winning back the House enables Repulicans to block Biden's catastrophic big brother legislation as well as to set some of the legislative agenda. It also allows for hearings on some of the misdeeds of the current administration.

2) When the shit hits the fan over the Biden policies the Democrats won't be able to blame a Republican congress. The Republicans were not the "dog that caught the car".

3) Trump was seriously damaged. The Trump mystique, to the extent it still existed, may now be gone. This will allow serious Republican candidates to emerge and compete using conservative ideas to bring our society back to sanity.

Of course, I could ask for examples of 'big brother legislation' but as I know you don't have an answer, and if you did it would be total bullshit, it's sort of a waste of time.

It's interesting to me that there's a segment of the population that ONLY wants to destroy and move backwards. They're not 'for' anything. Man. That fear they've been sold for so long digs deep. If it wasn't the for the weakest, you know?
