Trump shouldnt run again.

I have nothing but respect for what Donald Trump accomplished in his one term as President;in manys ways,he was the best since Ronald Reagan.I have great sympathy for the way he was treated by the media and his opponents;he has a legitimate claim to being the most abused President in American history. All of that said,I am unhappy over the fact that he is running for President again. There is so much toxicity associated with him-most of it was manufactured, but its still THERE-that I dont see him as being electable. It seems like its becoming Ron DeSantis' time;he appears to have all of Trumps strengths with none of the drawbacks. Also,he seems to be more acceptable to swing voters who are critical to winnning national elections. It would have been much better for both the country and Trump if he would have given Destantis his official endorsement and acted as "kingmaker"instead of commiting himself to a venture whos chances of success are dubious at best. Its a shame.

NO the SHAME is the media lies which you regurgitate -- Trump is NOT toxic the Demonrats are -- and we NEED a bully pulpit to put the radicals in their place so do not believe the LIES of the lame stream that Trump is unelectable, racist, sexist, deplorable, irredeemable, chump, dreck, etc.

@scrood Did you bother to read my post?I supported Donald Trump and Im well aware that the majority of the charges against him were lies invented by a corrput media. The problem is that a vast majority of Americans unfortunately believe the lies and are so triggred by him that they will NEVER vote for him.I agree that if he won again he could do great things for the country. But you cant do anything if you dont win the election.

@DavidT8899 Yes I read the whole post -- BUT -- Trump is not part of the establishment Republicans that's why they hate him whereas DeSantis is not independently wealthy and cannot fund his own campaign - hence he may be beholden to outside donors and blackmail as Trump said

@scrood You make a good point. How Destantis handles that situation is his last major test.(I believe hes already proven that he has the courage to make serious changes as necessary based on his performance as Governor.)But the fact of the matter is that Destantis is ELECTABLE,while Trump may not be,as unfortunate and unfair as that may be.
