In 2007–2008, as U.S. attorney, Acosta approved a plea deal that allowed child-trafficking ring-leader Jeffrey Epstein to plead guilty to a single state charge of solicitation, in exchange for a federal non-prosecution agreement.[2] After Epstein's arrest in July 2019 on sex trafficking charges, Acosta faced renewed and harsher criticism for his role in the 2008 non-prosecution agreement, as well as calls for his resignation; he resigned on July 19 and was replaced by Eugene Scalia.

@HoraceGreenley Funny thing - Fox News forgot to tell you what airports Epstein's 727 landed at, even though the airport codes are in the log.

Truth is, Clinton flew on that plane to Africa to do Clinton foundation relief work, as reported in the news. Truth is, if you look at the actual flight logs, they show where the plane landed, which was the Azores and Africa.

LPAZ is the Azores (refueling), DGAA is Accra, HRYR is Rwanda, FACT is Cape Town, FAJS is Johannesburg, FQMA is Mozambique, etc. Notice how each leg of the journey is a separate flight, including refueling stops? You can account for 26 "flights" pretty quickly when you understand how each leg is logged as an additional "flight."

Funny thing - those airport codes give the lie to the claims about Clinton repeatedly visiting Epstein's island.

BTW, Epstein's plane is a Boeing 727; there are no landing facilities for such a large plane on Epstein's island. See how just a LITTLE BIT of investigating can explode some of the biggest conspiracy theories?

Ghislaine Maxwell said Bill Clinton never visited Jeffrey Epstein's island but did fly on his private jet as the British socialite was grilled on the ex-president's relationship to the convicted paedophile, revealed in newly-released documents.

In the heavily-redacted 2016 deposition, Ms Maxwell says rape accuser Virginia Giuffre is "1,000 per cent" lying about Mr Clinton visiting the Caribbean island.

"Again, Virginia is absolutely, totally lying," Ms Maxwell said.

"This is a subject of defamation about Virginia and the lies she has told and one of the lies she told was that President Clinton was on the island where I was present. Absolutely 1,000 per cent that is a flat out total fabrication and lie."

While names were redacted in initial questioning, Mr Clinton's identity was revealed after Ms Maxwell named him in her responses to deny he had ever been on the island.

She did confirm that Mr Clinton had flown on Mr Epstein's private plane, but would not be drawn into commenting on the nature or extent of their relationship.
