Under the law in open carry states you can gather legally near a polling location as long as you are the prescribed distance away.
Under the law, you're not allowed to hand anything including bottles of water to people waiting to vote but poll workers are allowed to make water available to people waiting....
So no, you can't wear a Maga hat and hand out water or wear an antifa shirt and hand out water or give out water bottles with blue labels or red labels.. that's why these laws exist.. just like you can't hand out campaign material to people waiting in line..
It's all manufactured outrage by both sides..

@Onestarlitnight that’s really nice I’m sure it helps somebody six blocks away
@Ryderbike LMFAO..
@Onestarlitnight you have to remember Republicans are very experienced at this. The most overt worst one ever was Kansas city. First of all they closed several polling stations and left only one open in a minority area. Then they sent out mailers giving the wrong date for the election but get this, they then moved the polling station out of town where there was no bus service and that minority community had very few people who owned cars,

@fanuc2013 asks of @Ryderbike
And how many subpoenas were ducked? ZERO, right?
And how many times did she plead the 5th? ZERO, right?
And you've ALSO COMPLETELY forgotten about John Durham' 44 month Special Counsel investigation!! How many Durham subpoenas were ducked? ZERO, right? How many times did people plead the 5th to Durham? ZERO, right?
But if you want to talk about a TRULY WEAPONIZED investigation, you've got to go back to Kenneth Starr. Did you know that Kenneth Starr spent several years investigating every rumor on Bill and Hillary Clinton? All he found after $50 million was a BJ. But he did create the template for weaponized investigations. Remind me, which party pushed Starr to his investigational excesses??
Could it be that democrats have squashed every attempt at investigating alleged fraud or irregularities?
Such a short memory you have @fanuc2013!! You've COMPLETELY forgotten about when the Republican Congress held EIGHT (8) separate republican controlled congressional investigations of Hillary Clinton!! Five in the House, three more in the Senate.And how many subpoenas were ducked? ZERO, right?
And how many times did she plead the 5th? ZERO, right?

@ElwoodBlues clinton had to give up his law license for perjury and obstruction of justice after Starr turned in his report so it wasn't just a bj.

@MasterLee Google "process crime."
Here, I'll give you a hand:
Nov. 30, 2018
Yesterday was not a good day for Donald Trump. The president's former personal attorney and "fixer" pleaded guilty in a federal courtroom, admitting that he lied to Congress about Trump's efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. It marked the first time the president's private business dealings in Moscow were directly implicated in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into the broader Russia scandal.
. . .
Graham, who has emerged as one of Trump's fiercest defenders, said he had "no idea what that's all about" when asked his reaction to Cohen's guilty plea, adding that it "seems to be a process crime."
Soon after, Rush Limbaugh complained, "Every one of Mueller's indictments is a process crime."
. . .
I seem to recall Lindsey Graham serving as an impeachment manager 20 years ago against a sitting president accused of perjury. It suggests the Republican lawmaker's indifference toward "process crimes" is fairly new.
Seems "process crimes" should be ignored when committed by trumpsters. But democrats should be impeached for them. RIIIIIIIIIGHT

Anyone who brings a gun near a voting place should be arrested, charged and sent to prison,

MasterLee · 56-60, M
@ElwoodBlues you forgot to bold the most important part
ElwoodBlues · M
@MasterLee Do you have any evidence to back up your claim? In the Black Panther era, 1966-71, the majority of democrats were southerners trying to hold on to segregation. Many black panther leaders were jailed by '71. Nixon's Southern Strategy was just getting started.
Northern democrats were very supportive of Martin Luther King. You do realize MLK wasn't a black panther, don't you?
No, I don't think history supports your claim, but, regardless, it's cute that you have to go back 50 years to find a voting place offense to attempt to blame on the democrats.
Oh, that's a CUTE excuse, ROTFL!!!

Why Do Nonwhite Georgia Voters Have To Wait In Line For Hours? Too Few Polling Places
October 17, 2020
The clogged polling locations in metro Atlanta reflect an underlying pattern: the number of places to vote has shrunk statewide, with little recourse. Although the reduction in polling places has taken place across racial lines, it has primarily caused long lines in nonwhite neighborhoods where voter registration has surged and more residents cast ballots in person on Election Day. The pruning of polling places started long before the pandemic, which has discouraged people from voting in person.
In Georgia, considered a battleground state for control of the White House and U.S. Senate, the difficulty of voting in Black communities like Union City could possibly tip the results on Nov. 3. With massive turnout expected, lines could be even longer than they were for the primary, despite a rise in mail-in voting and Georgians already turning out by the hundreds of thousands to cast ballots early.
Since the U.S. Supreme Court's Shelby v. Holder decision in 2013 eliminated key federal oversight of election decisions in states with histories of discrimination, Georgia's voter rolls have grown by nearly 2 million people, yet polling locations have been cut statewide by nearly 10%, according to an analysis of state and local records by Georgia Public Broadcasting and ProPublica. Much of the growth has been fueled by younger, nonwhite voters, especially in nine metro Atlanta counties, where four out of five new voters were nonwhite, according to the Georgia secretary of state's office.https://www.npr.org/2020/10/17/924527679/why-do-nonwhite-georgia-voters-have-to-wait-in-line-for-hours-too-few-polling-pl
