How many people are sick of the political calls and texts?

I can't believe how many I have gotten and replied stop to. I think that they should never be started... after all the politicians don't Like unwanted calls. Why can't we get something that stops the calls and shit? All of them want to regulate guns, abortion and electric cars and a lot of stuff that is harder to achieve than eliminating scam and bullshit calls and texts. Am I wrong on this?
