How would you explain common political leanings to an 8 year old?

Liberal - if your family can’t afford breakfast or lunch everyday we’ll organize to get the school to offer meals to kids who need it.

Conservative - we can’t afford to pay for it and besides they had kids they can’t afford.

Libertarians - I will walk in a straight line swinging my arms and if I knock your lunch out of your hands it’s your own fault.

Well, if grown adults can't discuss this topic without snideness and lack of objectivity, I'd say it's age-inappropriate material for kids.

@Graylight ironically, children are more open minded, sincere, and honest and usually don't have arrogance when faced with questions about politics and morality. Oddly enough, I find that children are closer to actually thinking problems through simply because they have no indoctrinated manifesto to recite, unlike the adults who "picked a side."
@Graylight lol yeah the question was how to explain to an 8 year old not like an angry 8 year old. Lol
