Simply means when people use it in a derogatory comment they are getting their information from other sources.

Investigate further and it’s usually the Qanon rabbit hole.

[sep]LOL. And you've performed this investigation? What if I said "mainstream media" refers to daily newspapers in major metro markets and network television news? What other media sources would people you dislike include in that definition?
