@Reason10 okay, I'm going to tell you something you don't know, seeing as it's literally the industry I'm in. Most developers earn six figure salaries if they work on enterprise level sites. Software development is an upper middle class job.

You've never heard of crowdfunding? Investors? Share capital?

@basilfawlty89 I think the very real issue is that Twitter has become the domain of the Far-left and the Woke.Of course,not all speech should be allowed on the site,but when a former U.S President is banned while the Taliban have an account,something is clearly wrong.

@DavidT8899 no one is irreplaceable in the work force, technically speaking, but you realise from basic economics that a high employee turnover rate is a bad thing right? It's less economically feasible to fire a developer. A new developer will have to learn am entirely new ecosystem, get familiar with thousands of lines of code, etc.

@basilfawlty89 Musk fired the CEO and the lawyer. (I inserted a link to that story in this thread.) Not exactly a threat to the company's survival.

@Reason10 okay, fair enough there, CEOs don't do that much, let's be honest. If you can be CEO of three companies like Elon is, you can't be too busy.

That being said, if you perused carefully on Google, you'll see he's planning more layoffs. This includes developers. Even if it wasn't the actual developers, firing in employee and finding a new one is more costly to a company, this is why HR departments exists, to solve grievances. This is like business 101 mate.

I looked up the story and found Musk fired the CEO and the company ambulance chaser. Those are the facts. I don't need songs to present them to intelligent people. @basilfawlty89 Elon needs to purge that company of the Woke element. Otherwise it'll remain an expensive joke, as well as a threat to the First Amendment.
He's on the right track.
