I'm not sure what we're seeing now will work out that way, at last like it did in the past.
There seems to be some crossover between the Christian Nationalists, the libertarians and a whole bunch of other folks who've aligned themselves with Trump to one degree or another, including the pro fraud, pro-white collar criminal folks, but they don't always get along, and it seems a little more fragile coalition then Reagan had without the more moderate small government folks holding it all together.
