How Stupid Do You Have To Be

How stupid do you have to be, to continue propagating the lie that the Orange Führer wanted to deploy the national guard on Jan 6, but Pelosi rejected it.

Simply put: The speaker of the House does not have the power to block an order from the commander in chief.

I've posted this before as a joke, but I'm starting to wonder if it's not true. What if those MAGA hats have behavior modification chips in them, kind of like the hats made by the Mad Hatter in Batman? You put it on, and higher brain functions are suppressed, making you more prone to suggestion.

@LordShadowfire I have posted this as a joke, but there may be some truth to it: What if gun enthusiasts are more prone to brain damage via lead poisoning from bullets? This could be an explanation for why Republicans are prone to believing conspiracy theories. Studies have shown that those who use firearms have higher levels of lead in their bodies. https://americancop.com/a-silent-killer-mitigating-exposure-risks-from-lead-at-shooting-ranges/#:~:text=The%20risk%20of%20lead%20poisoning%20is%20a%20very,at%20low%20levels%20can%20cause%20damage%20over%20time.

@trollslayer I never thought of that. They do use real lead, don't they?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@LordShadowfire Yes. And they resist regulations to remove lead from bullets and fishing weights.

@LordShadowfire I remember a study about a reduction in inner-city violent crime during the 1990s that they attributed to removal of lead from gasoline. The hypothesis was that kids growing up in inner cities had higher lead exposure from gasoline, and that led to violent and unstable behavior. https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-27067615
