Questioning Biden's energy policies ....

Could Biden's energy police be based on the fact that the oil production industry is mostly based in conservative or Republican states? Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, North Dakota? And by assaulting the oil/petro industry he can undermine those states' economies and shake up the voters there?

Oil leases are up 30% under Biden over Trump for 2021, the numbers for 2022 aren't in yet
@independentone why then is his administration seeking oil from other nations?

@soar2newhighs It's partisan propaganda. See rebuttal below.

Biden sounded a similar note Tuesday during his remarks announcing a ban on Russian energy imports. "Even amid the pandemic, companies in the United States pumped more oil during my first year in office than they did during my predecessor's first year," Biden said.

But the White House's framing omits a key fact: while domestic oil production in 2021 was higher than it was in 2017, it was lower than it was in 2018, 2019 and 2020, federal statistics show.
@SumKindaMunster So let the administration get “dirty oil” from Maduro. And if they really want that
basketball ball player back and not have her do nine years in a Russian prison, they might suck the Russians off too and re start taking their oil.
Joe’s pondering The Iran nuclear deal ( a definite threat to the Middle East) deal and to look good for his, I’ll toss my medals away boy. John Kerry, aka climate czar, might start taking oil from Iran too. Kerry and Iran. There is a bit of a connection there through marriage. Not often highlighted.
And the one who really bent Joe’s will, not much of it, was this person…

@independentone This has nothing to do with Biden or Trump. This is corporate greed. Reminds me of when Colorado Western Slope oil shale was going to lower the price of oil during the Reagan era and the Saudis lowered the price so the Texans couldn't compete. Now it's the other way.
@soar2newhighs We have always bought oil from other countries.
@hunkalove Oh, I agree completely, Oil companies are gouging plain and simple. Same with food processors. Profiteering used to be illegal
