Joking aside, he will last until the next gen election and possibly (though unlikely) longer than that.

@Burnley123 yes I'd expect tory will lose next time and he'll go after that. He's 2 years to hope for some miracle to happen

@OldBrit Now they've gone for Sunnak, it's no longer a formality for labour. He's a known internal opponent of both Johnson and Truss so might be able to escape some of the damage to the Tory brand. Might.

The most obvious prediction is to say that there will be some poll recovery but they still lose more narrowly in two years. I don't rate Starmer though and he's untested against a competent opponent.
