Except what they saw on that show was entirely fabricated. The business board room was a set because the casino board room was not suitable for TV. It was dingy and delapidated.....like the casino it sat in. This was a media repair for his dying businesses to portray him as a stellar business man.
And from there it just got easier for him to use media as a means to boast his importance and image.
