Unraveling The Truth

Based on what's surfacing, following inner fighting, it seems as if a couple of guys, seeing a market for an additional social media channel, and following the failure of the Parler conservative network (we'll revisit that later), thought that the conservative market was underserved.

So, they drew up some marketing plans, and put together enough money to outsource the development of a prototype.

Then the approached Trump, to see if he's interested in putting his name on it.

He said sure, but only if he gets 90% of the shares. They agreed, and money started pouring in, at least enough for them to hire some people, and do actual site development.

At one point, Trump calls one of the co-founders, and asks him to give Melania stock options, out of the co-founder's shares. He told Trump that doing so will saddle him with a tax bill he cannot afford. Trump went ape shit. That guy was pushed aside.

He then filed a whistleblower complaint with the SEC.

The SEC is dealing with that, and there will probably be subpoenas, but I have a questions: Why does Trump want Melania to have shares in the company? Is she going somewhere? And why wouldn't he set aside some of his own shares for her?

The whistleblower account also mentions Jr. and Eric demanding shares of their own as well.

Didn’t Kanye West just agree to buy Parler on the advice of Candace Owens? Her husband is the Parler CEO.

That's what the (we'll revisit that later) was in reference of.

Yes, he made the offer, and he will probably end up buying it. The FTC should step in, to ask for a wellness evaluation, before they allow this deal to go through. Kanye suffers from a mental illness, and now sees this big conspiracy of Jews conspiring against him. He should be treated, not taken advantage of.

Trump is going defcon 3 on US Jews as well, "truthing" about how ungrateful we are for not worshiping him, because he helped Israel, using decades old antisemitic "are Jews loyal to their countries, or Israel" trope. The ADL's chair was at a loss for words when he was asked for a comment.

using decades old antisemitic "are Jews loyal to their countries, or Israel" trope
That's hilarious, given how much GOP candidates have to kiss AIPAC's ass to get anywhere at the national level.

@OggggO It's not about AIPAC, it's about Evangelicals.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Northwest Oh I know why they have to do it, but from what I've see, the way they have to do it is by getting AIPAC's approval.
@LeopoldBloom Yep, this morning Kanye said he was gonna buy Parler. I expect by tomorrow he'll change his mind.
@OggggO There's a weird dynamic in the GOP that accommodates both neo-Nazis and Evangelicals who view support for Israel as vital to the need for Jesus to have a landing pad when he returns. Both are profoundly antisemitic in that they both want to obliterate the Jews, albeit in different ways and for different reasons. AIPAC is merely taking advantage of the Evangelical support for Israel; they would be fools not to.

In 1980, the U.S. funded 20% of Israel's defense budget. Today it's around 1%. I know Israelis who have told me that Israel doesn't need U.S. military support. Since all of the money has to be spent in the U.S., it's really just a benefit program for American military contractors, which is why both parties support it to some degree as it is one way federal funds get to their districts.
@ElwoodBlues Since Musk is buying Twitter, Kanye wants Parler. Parler is basically a shittier version of Gab; not as pathetic as TruthSocial but without Gab's overt antisemitism.

@OggggO AIPAC does not care. In the words of one former Israeli PM (paraphrased): 'obviously, I don't share their beliefs, but I'll take the money and support'. If evangelicals are right, then all Jews, with the exception of 100,000 who convert to Christianity, are doomed to hell. Evangelicals don't do it out of love for Jews. I'm an atheist, so I don't give a shit.
@Northwest According to Evangelical eschatology, when Jesus returns, the Jews will be given one last chance to convert to Christianity, and the ones who refuse will be consigned to hell. So it's no different than Nazis, in both cases the goal is no more Jews.

@LeopoldBloom I read Revelations, when I was like 8. It's some scary shit to expose a child to, in a parochial school, where you don't even feel you belong to start with.

My memory is a bit off. The number is 144,000, not 100,000

Revelation 7:3–8:

Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of God on their foreheads. And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,
12,000 from the tribe of Reuben,
12,000 from the tribe of Gad,
12,000 from the tribe of Asher,
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,
12,000 from the tribe of Simeon,
12,000 from the tribe of Levi,
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,
12,000 from the tribe of Joseph,
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed

Yes, pretty much the same goal as the Nazis, but these guys even go beyond this existence.

@LeopoldBloom I knew pretty much everything in your first paragraph. See below.

@Northwest Again, I know all that. It's not quite what I'm saying. I just find it funny that he would say that specifically, when not saying enough good things about the State of Israel is effectively career suicide for a GOP politician, regardless of their own or their constituents' feelings about Jewish people. And, at least from what I've seen, the primary indicator of "enough" is if AIPAC is satisfied with said candidate.
@Northwest Revelation is the most misinterpreted book of the Bible. It's a coded description of the contemporary political climate. Adding it to the Bible was demented. Even Martin Luther thought it shouldn't have been included.

From the flyleaf of D.L. Moody's Bible:

The Old Testament points to the cross.
The Gospels tell the story of the cross.
The Epistles point to the throne.
Revelation tells the story of the throne.

Nietzsche criticized the Christians for "pulling the Old Testament from under the Jews' feet" and turning it into an extended prologue, reducing it to "a stupid story of sin and redemption."

@LeopoldBloom I personally think the Book of Revelation, was written by someone under the influence of magic mushrooms.
