Unraveling The Truth

Based on what's surfacing, following inner fighting, it seems as if a couple of guys, seeing a market for an additional social media channel, and following the failure of the Parler conservative network (we'll revisit that later), thought that the conservative market was underserved.

So, they drew up some marketing plans, and put together enough money to outsource the development of a prototype.

Then the approached Trump, to see if he's interested in putting his name on it.

He said sure, but only if he gets 90% of the shares. They agreed, and money started pouring in, at least enough for them to hire some people, and do actual site development.

At one point, Trump calls one of the co-founders, and asks him to give Melania stock options, out of the co-founder's shares. He told Trump that doing so will saddle him with a tax bill he cannot afford. Trump went ape shit. That guy was pushed aside.

He then filed a whistleblower complaint with the SEC.

The SEC is dealing with that, and there will probably be subpoenas, but I have a questions: Why does Trump want Melania to have shares in the company? Is she going somewhere? And why wouldn't he set aside some of his own shares for her?

The whistleblower account also mentions Jr. and Eric demanding shares of their own as well.
Trump really is in a situation where he needs to spread out assets right now. I'm not clear on the tax consequences or the details, but it does make sense for Trump to try to take care of Melania right about now, in case she does go "somewhere" or he tells her to.

Honestly, the corruption and tax angles are hardly surprising, but even with the hits he might take, it may be moving wealth for security.

@MistyCee Yes, I can imagine if things go south for him, Melania, is going to be supporting him. 😂🤣
@Northwest Lol. He's got to buy her loyalty like everyone else.

At one point, Trump calls one of the co-founders, and asks him to give Melania stock options, out of the co-founder's shares.

It's interesting the wording of that statement.

So he is out of money and can't buy the shares nor can she buy those same shares.

Sounds like the family money is being shared with Trump as the executor of it. Now look at the consequences of doing that... 😆

It's actually a common practice among the very wealthy. Like the house of Saudi.

@DeWayfarer A stock option isn't an actual share of stock, it's the right to buy a share of stock at a fixed price regardless of the market price.

@OggggO true, yet the dividends would go to the trust.

@OggggO

if you transfer the options to another person, the spread (per option) equals: value of option at time of transfer, minus value of option when it was awarded. Taxes are due on that.

The Truth is that Trump is a crook of the highest order. This FACT has been known for decades.
Didn’t Kanye West just agree to buy Parler on the advice of Candace Owens? Her husband is the Parler CEO.

@LeopoldBloom I knew pretty much everything in your first paragraph. See below.

@Northwest Again, I know all that. It's not quite what I'm saying. I just find it funny that he would say that specifically, when not saying enough good things about the State of Israel is effectively career suicide for a GOP politician, regardless of their own or their constituents' feelings about Jewish people. And, at least from what I've seen, the primary indicator of "enough" is if AIPAC is satisfied with said candidate.
@Northwest Revelation is the most misinterpreted book of the Bible. It's a coded description of the contemporary political climate. Adding it to the Bible was demented. Even Martin Luther thought it shouldn't have been included.

From the flyleaf of D.L. Moody's Bible:

The Old Testament points to the cross.
The Gospels tell the story of the cross.
The Epistles point to the throne.
Revelation tells the story of the throne.

Nietzsche criticized the Christians for "pulling the Old Testament from under the Jews' feet" and turning it into an extended prologue, reducing it to "a stupid story of sin and redemption."

@LeopoldBloom I personally think the Book of Revelation, was written by someone under the influence of magic mushrooms.
He’s probably buying their loyalty and knows that it’s a nice way to show he’s bankrupt and get out of his debts.

Another theory could be they’re fleeing to Switzerland or somewhere.

Why does Trump want Melania to have shares in the company?
Almost certainly some kind of accounting trick.
