The immigration crisis is worsening

New York City is now in a state of emergency as just .007% of the total number of immigrants that flooded into the US across the porous southern border so far this year have now relocated to that city. When will American politicians move to put an end to the crisis?

New York City mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency on Friday in response to an influx of migrants arriving in the city.
Adams said at least 17,000 asylum seekers have arrived in the city by bus from other parts of the country since April.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott began busing migrants from the Lone Star State to New York City and Washington, D.C., in the spring.
Abbott previously said he decided to send busloads of migrants to Washington, D.C., and New York City “because of President Biden’s continued refusal to acknowledge the crisis caused by his open border policies,” saying that “the State of Texas has had to take unprecedented action to keep our communities safe.”
“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” he said when the first bus arrived in New York.

Desantis and Abbott are purposely doing this without communicating in any way with cities like New York. Because they know if it was actually orchestrated it wouldn't be as big a mess and MAGA nation wouldnt have as much to cheer about.

Too many democrats in northern blue states claim they oppose the Biden immigration policies but when put to the test they prove they just say things like that for political points, not because they intend to pressure Biden to do something to address the exploding crisis.

@marke Again with the "exploding crisis," huh? Someone's pimping you hard, huh? They put it out and they KNOW it'll be repeated by certain types.
I could be wrong but I'm thinking you live in Whitey McWhiteville without any personal connection to immigrants. If that's true, too bad for you. Then you'd have access to some people who had the BALLS to leave everything behind, instead of just whining, to have a modicum of safety and a better life. They work harder, they're kinder and more appreciative than most any freaking conservative I've ever met. You're missin' out dude.

Your ignorance of my life, beliefs, and activities cause you to say things that are stupid and untrue. I know some illegals work harder and smarter than other immigrants and Americans. I know that because I have hired many over the years. I have taken one immigrant family of 8 into my care and have done everything I could to help them for the last 14 years. Sadly, only one son managed to get onto DACA but two of the other older children did not. Three of the children were born in America.

It costs money to care for unemployed, unemployable, homeless, and large immigrant families and that is the biggest factor driving government officials' complaints about the immigration crisis.
@marke nobody, not Democrats or Republicans, seem interested in addressing the root issue of illegal immigration: American business gives them jobs. They wouldn't risk everything to get here illegally if they couldn't get work. American businesses conveniently look away because they've got an instant cheap labor force. Crack down severely on these practices and watch the difference it would make. No, Biden and the Democrats aren't doing that. Neither did Trump. And meanwhile governors like Abbott and DeSantis are just playing games to score points with the MAGA crowd.

@marke Kiss off. The government DOES NOT pay for immigrants with things like welfare. They save that for the red states who take the lion's share. Immigrants CONTRIBUTE. So you're telling me you hired them? Why? Out of the goodness of your heart? Nah. Cheap labor willing to do the work that pampered, whiny white Americans won't do. You know that if you've hired. Side note dude. They're not illegals. They're fucking human beings. I'm done. No patience.

@Ynotisay I think DeSantis is to be congratulated for seeking to find immigrants homes in American neighborhoods that are not already infested with crime and poverty.
