I have been just talking to a use who actually believes dictators and totalitarian states are good. I never thought I would see something so ridiculous.

@Tracos It's an evolutionary holdover. Back in the day, we needed bully types to stand up against dire wolves and sabertooth cats, to say nothing of enemy tribes. Now, that angry bullying personality type doesn't serve an actual purpose, but certain people still worship bullies.

@Tracos The problem with evolution is that it's not an intelligent force. It doesn't automatically know what we need in order to progress. It's just a process that favors whoever reproduces the most.
