Are there any GOP running that are NOT 2020 election deniers?

My #1 criteria for deciding who to vote for. If the candidate believes the 2020 election was illegitimate, I see no reason to vote for that person, because I would then believe elections are pointless.

Right now all the Rs on my ballot are election deniers. So I guess I am voting all D.

Something I hate about Liberals is that they'll say there's a civil war in the GOP between Trumpian Fascists and "Real Conservatives." Then you actually look at the numbers, and like 95% of the GOP has fully embraced Trumpism and the Big Lie.

I'm sure there are two or three Republicans who aren't election deniers, but the party is so hardcore fascist now, those people don't matter.

@BohemianBabe I mean, they're trying to rehabilitate Liz Cheney of all people, just for calling out the incredibly obvious lie. I get that American political coverage has a terrible case of golden mean fallacy, but holy shit, these people are not Sainted Moderates just because they do the bare minimum of acknowledging reality.
@OggggO Seriously! There are even Liberals rehabilitating George Bush. The bar is so low now that if you're not literally screaming to make Trump a dictator, you're a good Republican.

@BohemianBabe Aren't you a liberal?
@HoraceGreenley No, I'm a Leftist.
@BohemianBabe I'm proud t o be a socialist. ( Ironically raised by Orange County republicans)
@Grateful4you What do your parents think of the modern GOP?
I think the GOP was always bad, but I can at least understand why people liked it before Trumpism.
@BohemianBabe Both are dead now. Dad was a kind, empathetic man who would more than likely detested someone like Trump and DeSantis. Even as a conservative, he was hiring minorities to run his stores before civil rights.
@Grateful4you I think conservative-leaning people like that honestly do believe that their economic policies benefit most people and just don't see the connection to Fascism. It was understandable before the modern GOP openly embraced Fascism.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe Can you define what a Leftist is to you?
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe If you think Conservatism is aligned with fascism then you don't understand Conservatism. They are in fact opposites.

Conservatives want power to be vested in private individuals and private businesses and not in government. It's about maximizing freedom which includes free markets.

To think that Conservatism is remotely connected to fascism is utterly absurd.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe Aside from Trump, I don't support any of these people (at least the ones I know.
Putin and Kim Jong-Un are diametrically oppoed to Conservatives. These two should be shot.

@BohemianBabe I don't know anything about these European politicians.

I do know two things:
1. Fascism is antithetical to Conservatism
2. Liberals accuse Conservatives of things they actually do that Conservatives don't do
@HoraceGreenley

1. Fascism is antithetical to Conservatism

If that's true, then like 95% of American Conservatives aren't "real" Conservatives because they all support fascist politics and politicians.

2. Liberals accuse Conservatives of things they actually do that Conservatives don't do

There are plenty of examples of Conservatives projecting, but you don't actually have any examples of Liberals or Leftists doing that.
@HoraceGreenley The Trump fascist movement is not a conservative movement. Trump has never been a conservative.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Ryderbike Exactly!! If there were true conservatives running, they would get my vote. Instead, all I have on my ballot are fascists.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@Ryderbike how is Trump a fascist?
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe as a Socialist how would you know?
@HoraceGreenley
as a Socialist how would you know?

I still watch liberal media and follow liberal politics. I disagree with Liberals, but I'm honest enough to admit that they don't endlessly project. Only Conservatives do that.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe thanks for confirming my point
@HoraceGreenley
how is Trump a fascist?

He's an Authoritarian who uses nationalist imagery and rhetoric. For a better understanding, look up Umberto Eco's 14 Points of Fascism.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe define authoritarian
@HoraceGreenley Authoritarianism is strong use of central government power to maintain the status quo. Authoritarianism is usually characterized in its opposition to Democracy and other things that reduce central power such as checks and balances, government transparency, and free speech.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@BohemianBabe that's the opposite of Conservatism.

You don't appear to know what these terms mean.

Not surprising for a Socialist, as being one means you are misguided and that you don't understand how the world works.
