I would vote on whether they stand with me on the issues that I believe in, I wouldn't just vote in the opposite direction.

@calicuz Do you believe in Democracy over Fascism?

@calicuz Then definitely vote blue down ballot.

@calicuz My number one issue is having the ability to vote in the future, All other issues depend upon #1.

@calicuz Fascists don't care about Amendments.
Though what I think the Republicans are going to do is what the Soviet Union did. There will still be elections, but all of the candidates will need to be approved by the government. So basically, we'll only be able to choose between Republicans.

@calicuz Alternate electors or not certifying results takes it away.

My friend, if you believe there is a two party system right now, you are only kidding yourself. Those on Capital Hill would have you believe they are at odds with one another and fighting for you, but the truth is they are all members of the Social Elite. They have the power and they are not going to give it up. They laugh at us at their cocktail parties, and mock us like royalty laughing at the peasants.

@calicuz There is some truth to that, but the parties are also pretty different. Republican policy always makes things worse. Whereas Democratic policy either keeps things the same or slightly improves things. Seriously, look at the history of America, you'll notices that the economy ALWAYS does better under Democrats. And again, only the Republicans are trying to overturn Democracy.

About the only flaw in your theory that comes to mind is the horrible recession we had during the Carter administration and having Reagan pull us out of it.

@calicuz I never said Democrats were good, only that they're better than Republicans. And Reagan was actually one of the worst presidents we ever had. The Carter recession ran its course, not because of anything Reagan did, but then Reagan created a new recession because of his "trickle down economics" which are still hurting Americans today. The ghost of Reagan should be glad we got Trump, because now Reagan is only the second worst American president.

"Second worst?" Not in my opinion, but glad we can have a civilized conversation on the subject. 👍

@calicuz I mean, maybe third, because of Bush.
