With all due respect, that's way too simplistic. The Republican party still is courting the woman voter, and they're not saying the vote has no value to them.
I get how Republican policies seem to to be disproportionately adverse to women with respect to reproduction, but the bigger picture, imo, seems to be the blatant disregard for honesty and objective reality.
That, imo, is destined to screw daughters and sons, as well as mother's and fathers.

@Carla I'm not saying they're courting the woman voter particularly well, but I don't really think they're not courting all women.
I really don't want to go into it all at the moment, but if all or even a substantial number of women actually cared about women's rights, the ERA would have been passed a long time ago.
There are plenty of women who don't mind being pushed into being barefoot, in kitchens and pregnant, plenty of men eager to encourage them to vote and express their opinions, and also quite a few women who see their advantage in being able to take advantage of both of them.
There are an awful lot of Phyliss Schafflys, Serena Joys, Kayleigh McEnnnanys, and Sarah Sanders' out there, along with a lot of women that would like to follow in their foot steps.

@MistyCee are those women really advocating for these things honestly in their support though? I see it more as jumping on a bandwagon for profit.
Actually, most of this noise is for monetary enrichment.
Womens rights, migration, abortion...all issues i believe no right wing lawmaker or talking head wish to see resolved. If not for the conflict, the right would have no platform.
But i do know you are correct in that some women will fall in for their benefit. With no thought of the bigger picture.

@MistyCee Many women are pro-life. That being said, the vote in Kansas shows that even many conservative women want abortion to remain legal if they are able to limit their vote to that one issue. Whether that's important enough for them to cross over and vote Democratic is the question that will be answered in November.
Many people hate abortion and would never have one themselves, but also think that the decision to have one should be up to the pregnant person. I think the polling on this issue isn't capturing this sentiment well.

@LeopoldBloom I also know enough people from red states to know what people declare in public to avoid gossip at church versus what they actually believe can often be very different.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I've heard stories from clinic workers about women picketing the clinic, quietly coming in for their own abortions, then going right back to picketing. Something like one-quarter of American women have at least one abortion, and all of these are not liberals.

@LeopoldBloom And that's the difference between the two parties. One authentically tries to maintain social justice by doing the right things.
The other simply wants to look the part.
