@ABCDEF7 The US doesn't control NATO. Nor does it control NATO forces. Decisions are a consensus among member nations.

@ABCDEF7 The US does support it financially and with personnel and equipment, but the US doesn't control it. As far as the duplicate military command, I am in favor of removing US forces from everywhere in the world and bringing them back on US soil. The need for bases abroad aren't relevant anymore, with today's aircraft and other capabilities, if the military was needed anywhere in the world, it is only a matter of hours. NATO may have outlived it's usefulness.

NATO, along with the United States, will continue on with supporting the war in Ukraine regardless of what "others" have to say.
