Man Admits to Running Down and Killing a 'Republican' Teen Over a Political Dispute

"A North Dakota man is accused of intentionally running over and killing an 18-year-old over a political dispute early Sunday.
Just prior to the hit-and-run attack, the teen had frantically telephoned his mother to say someone was chasing him.
Shannon Brandt, 41, called 911 around 2:35 a.m. to report that he had hit a pedestrian with his vehicle in an alleyway in McHenry, N.D, according to KVLY-TV. He allegedly told the dispatcher he chased down the teen because he “was part of a Republican extremist group and that he was afraid they were ‘coming to get him,'” according to the news outlet."

When you are out at 2:30 a.m. expect bad things to happen to you.

@Diotrephes Yup, blame the victim, the perp is innocent, right?

During my lifetime I have engaged in all sorts of stupid risky activities that placed my life in jeopardy. I was very fortunate to have not suffered the consequences of my actions. So, while I might have been "innocent" if something bad had happened to me at anytime it would have been mostly my fault. For instance, when I was a kid I used to hitchhike and get into cars with strangers without a second thought or without any fear. While I started driving I picked up hitchhikers without a second thought. Imagine all of the things that could have gone wrong and resulted in my death or injury and all kinds of legal troubles. Of course the perp would have been wrong but so would I. But if you don't want to learn from other people's experiences feel free to make your own.

@Diotrephes Yup, kid gets run down in an alley by a drunk, of course it's the kids fault, how else could it be, right?

It's 100% the fault of the criminal that did it.

@Diotrephes idiot
@Diotrephes Yeah... going shopping to buy groceries in broad daylight is just as dangerous as being out after dark, or did you forget that three quarters of Americans have something to run you down with... 🤦‍♀️

Yep, that young guy was a real idiot who will never grow old because he was out in the middle of the night and got smacked dead by a lunatic when he should have been home sleeping in his bed like an intelligent teenager.

It is a fact that if you make it through the day without injury or getting killed, you are very lucky indeed. One day, who knows when, each one on us will wake up with all kinds of hopes and plans for what we will do and then, out of the blue, we will be dead. Have you ever watched the news and seen reports of some driver being killed in a car accident on the way to work? Happens all the time.

We may think that we have lots of time but we are lucky to survive the next five seconds at any time. I know that from experience.

So, cherish your life and never give anyone any reason to end it. Remember, not everyone is as sane as you are.

@Diotrephes Yup, it's the victim's fault, going to a concert and coming home is not the drunks fault, the drunk is innocent

In this instance the victim did not go to a concert. He was engaged in hostile action against another person and he got whacked as a result.

@Diotrephes According to InForum, Ellingson had been participating in a street dance Saturday night, and when it wrapped up, he noticed that Brandt was following him.

Ellingson called his mother to ask for help, but it was too late. Moments later, Brandt slammed into him with his car in an alleyway, killing the teen."

Any more bullschiff you wanna spew?
