@Graylight that's true of Marxist socialism, but not for Mutualism, Collectivism or Anarcho-Communism and other varieties of anarchism. There is no state in anarchism.

@basilfawlty89 And that's the thing most Americans fail to understand. That "socialism" isn't encapsulated in a couple lines. There are several forms of it, different examples in practice and it's used in various ways. It's not just "the government taking my stuff."
