The word from here this morning in all the papers is that DeSantis promised those he was shipping out that they were headed to Boston, where they'd easily find work.
Once here on domestic soil, even undocumented immigrants have the right to freedom of speech and religion, the right to be treated fairly, the right to privacy, and the other fundamental rights U.S. citizens enjoy. The rights of individuals under the Constitution apply to citizens and non-citizens alike. Non-citizens, no matter what their immigration status, generally have the same rights as citizens.
Does anything say you can't lie to them, scam them, engage in false advertising and further displace and endanger already vulnerable and helpless people? Nope. Nothing about that. But I don't think our is the only book of laws. Consequences manifest either in the short term or long.
